FINDING THE NEXT MAN UP: After going 2-for-12 with RISP in Tuesday's game, Iowa is now 212-for-796 (.266) with runners in scoring position, and 87-for-362 (.240) in production with RISP with two outs. Ryan Court paces the team in production with RISP with two outs, hitting .400 (14-for-35) with a home run and 17 RBI, while also leading the squad with most RBI (33) with runners in scoring position. Jason Vosler paces the I-Cubs in average (.500) with runners in scoring position. Overall, Salt Lake paces the PCL with a .302 average in both RISP (282-for-935) and RISP with two outs (137-for-454) with 422 RBI. Memphis sits near the top with a .281 in both respective categories.
AGAINST MEMPHIS: Iowa's record against Memphis has fallen to 1-13 after dropping their 11th-straight game to the Redbirds Tuesday. Mark Zagunis leads Iowa's offense at a scorching .400 (16-for-40) clip. Over 13 games, Zagunis has scored eight runs and hit five doubles, a home run and seven RBI vs. Memphis.
FREE PASS: Both Iowa and Memphis rank in the bottom-half of the PCL in drawing walks. Iowa's 303 free passes drawn are good for 10th in the league, while Memphis ranks 14th at 273. On the other side of the ball, Iowa has issued the fifth most walks (345) in the PCL, despite holding Memphis walk-less over 8.0 innings Tuesday.
