Years with the Patriots: 2022 - present
Eli Fishman is in his second season with the Somerset Patriots as the team’s Broadcasting and Media Relations Assistant, having served as a Media Relations Intern in 2022.
A rising senior at Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY, during his time on campus Eli has served various on-air roles for Ithaca's radio and television stations. Eli is the play-by-play voice of Bombers football and men's basketball on the school's TV station, and broadcasts various sports including baseball, softball, field hockey, volleyball, and lacrosse on 91.7 WICB Ithaca.
Additionally, he co-hosts College Emmy nominated "Sports Final", a weekly show on ICTV dedicated to covering local high school, collegiate, and professional athletics.
Hailing from Maplewood, NJ, Eli has worked as a broadcaster for nearly a dozen colleges and various television networks across the northeast on a freelance basis. His experience includes calling Cornell University athletics on ESPN+ and serving as the voice of the 2024 Junior College World Series on the NJCAA Network.
Before joining the Patriots, Eli was a journalist covering the New York Yankees farm system, contributing to YES Network and Pinstriped Prospects.
Beginning at the age of 12, he produced content for his YouTube and other social media platforms, interviewing players and coaches at various college and Minor League Baseball teams throughout the area.
Eli’s play-by-play career began with the Jersey Pilots of the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League in Madison, NJ, where he called home games from 2018 to 2021.
