In Honor Of Steve and Suzanne Kalafer
The SK Club is designed to honor Somerset Patriots Founding Chairman Steve Kalafer and THE Chairwoman Suzanne Kalafer. In the mid-1990’s, Steve Kalafer had the vision to bring professional baseball to Somerset County and his dream came true when his Patriots took the field for their first home game in Bridgewater in June of 1999. His love for the game of baseball and the New York Yankees made the announcement that the Patriots would be the iconic team’s Double-A affiliate that much more special. Behind every great man is a greater woman. Of all his accomplishments, Steve Kalafer’s greatest joy was his family. He found true love with his bride of 50 years and their sons Jonathan and Josh, their wives Kori and Rachel and his five grandsons.
