Hernandez homers, Milone and 'pen strong as Chiefs top Sox
Pawtucket, RI (July 13, 2018) - The Syracuse Chiefs picked up a 6-3 win over the Pawtucket Red Sox Friday night at McCoy Stadium. Yadiel Hernandez homered and drove in three runs, and six Syracuse pitchers held the PawSox off the board over the final six innings for the win.

Pawtucket (42-47) started the scoring in the first inning.
Syracuse (38-52) quickly answered in the second.
A pair of two-run home runs moved the score to 3-3. Former Nationals' farm and Tony Renda hit a two-run home run off Milone in the bottom of the third to give the PawSox a 3-1 lead. But again the Chiefs quickly answered, as Hernandez homered just to the right of center with Severino on first to tie the score.
The Chiefs took the lead for good in the sixth. Syracuse loaded the bases with two outs after
Syracuse would add an insurance run in the ninth.
