Tebow hits first Triple-A home run, but Mets lose to Clippers, 8-2
Syracuse, NY - Tim Tebow hit his first Triple-A home run, but the Syracuse Mets fell to the Columbus Clippers, 8-2, on a sunny Sunday afternoon at NBT Bank Stadium.

Columbus (24-17) started the scoring with a four-run top of the second inning.
Syracuse (24-18) powered its way on the board in the bottom of the third, hitting the third pair of back-to-back home runs of the homestand.
The Clippers were quick to answer though. Haase led off the top of the fourth with a solo home run of his own to bring the lead back to three, 5-2. Three batters later, with two outs, Allen hit his second home run of the season to push the Columbus lead to 6-2.
