In November of 2006, 7th Inning Stretch purchased the Delmarva Shorebirds (Class A, Baltimore). The Shorebirds are based out of Salisbury, MD and play in the Low-A East League and have won two league championships.
The Delmarva Shorebirds are proud to be one of three teams owned by 7th Inning Stretch, LLC, a Stockton, CA-based baseball ownership group, headed by Tom Volpe. 7th Inning Stretch was founded in 1999 when Volpe purchased the Visalia Oaks. The group moved its headquarters to Stockton when Volpe acquired the Stockton Ports in 2002. Ports President and General Manager Pat Filippone was added to the ownership group in July 2006, after serving as the CEO of the Fresno Grizzlies.

In December 2008, the Everett AquaSox were welcomed to the 7th Inning Stretch family. The AquaSox are the Class A Short Season affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. The team is based in Everett, WA and play in the Northwest League.
Acquired in 2002, the Stockton Ports were welcomed into the 7th Inning Stretch Family. Based in Stockton, CA, the Ports have been an Oakland Athletics affiliate since 2005 and captured 11 California League Crowns.
In December 2008, the Everett AquaSox were welcomed into 7th Inning Stretch. Based in Everett, WA, the AquaSox are a Short Season affiliate of the Seattle Mariners and recently won a Northwest League Championship in 2010.
