Parking Information

All those who prepurchase parking are guaranteed a spot in the Nashville Sounds garage if they arrive no later than 30 minutes after the scheduled game time. There are a limited number of pre-sold passes available for each date, however, the garage will still be an option for purchase on the day of each event if space is available. Additional parking or transportation options are available below.

There are approximately 6,000 parking spaces within a half- mile walk from First Horizon Park. Free and paid parking are available within this area. Please note that the State Parking Garage & Surface Lots are NOT available Monday through Friday before 5:30 p.m.

Fans are encouraged to prepurchase parking for the State Parking Garage located on Harrison Street between Rep. John Lewis Way North and 4th Avenue North. This garage accommodates up to 1,000 vehicles.

The garage will be locked approximately one hour after the conclusion of the game on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. On Saturdays and Sundays, the garage will open approximately two hours before the start of the Sounds game. On Mondays, the garage will open at 6 a.m.

Additional parking options include the following:

  • Some employee parking lots owned by the State of Tennessee will be available to fans on game days for free. These lots are located on the west side of James Robertson Parkway. NOTE: The State of TN lots are NOT available Monday through Friday before 5:30 p.m. Vehicles should not be left overnight.
  • Fans should park in these designated areas. Metro Police will station officers throughout the ballpark vicinity to provide general traffic assistance and control for both vehicle and pedestrian traffic.

The historic site of Sulphur Dell sits just north of downtown Nashville between 3rd Ave. N and Rep. John Lewis Way.

ADA Parking

All of the parking lots listed on the traffic and parking map have ADA spaces available. NOTE: The State of TN lots are NOT available Monday through Friday before 5:30 p.m.

In addition to these parking options, additional ADA parking will be provided in a lot on a first-come, first-served basis at Rep. John Lewis Way North & Harrison Street. While these parking spaces do not have access aisles, they will be available for free to persons with a state issued disabled person license plate, placard, or decal. This lot is colored purple on the traffic and parking map. NOTE: The State of TN lots are NOT available Monday through Friday before 5:30 p.m.

I have a bus or a large vehicle. Where should I park?

We recommend that fans with oversize vehicles such as buses, RVs, motorhomes, etc. park in the 10th Ave. Circle state employee lots. These are free lots on game nights. Click here for information and location.

Rideshare Services

If you are using an Uber, Lyft, or taxi service, the drop off and pickup locations are near the Right Field Entrance on Rep. John Lewis Way or along 3rd Avenue N. Traffic lanes will direct drivers were to go for ease of picking up and dropping off fans. For using rideshare after the game, please go to either of these areas to meet your driver or contact a Sounds staff member for assistance.

Public Transportion

Fans can ride a city bus to the Music City Central transit station and walk approximately one-half mile north (12 minutes) along Rep. John Lewis Way North to the ballpark. Information about bus routes is at https://www.wegotransit.com/.

Walking and biking are encouraged to the ballpark. A greenway will flank the ballpark and connect to the Cumberland River Greenway. And, of course, there are plenty of sidewalks connecting the ballpark to destinations downtown and beyond.

Nashville's BCycle is the city's bike-share program. Hop on a BCycle and pedal to the BCycle station at First Horizon Park at the corner of Rep. John Lewis Way and Junior Gilliam. More information at nashville.bcycle.com.

Season Ticket Member & Suite Holder Parking

We have two dedicated lots for suite holders and season ticket members. Parking information will be provided to you by your Sounds account manager.

First Horizon Park (19 Junior Gilliam Way, Nashville, TN 37219) is located just north of downtown Nashville at the historic site of Nashville baseball, Sulphur Dell. Located between 3rd Avenue North and Rep. John Lewis Way North, the ballpark is a short walk from many of the sites and buildings in downtown.

WHERE SHOULD I PARK FOR AN EVENT AT FIRST HORIZON PARK?
