Martini Homers Twice as Sounds Even Series With Dodgers

Martini got the third inning started by pulling a solo blast over the right field fence to give Nashville a 2-0 advantage. He then showed off his power with an opposite field three-run shot in the sixth that pushed the Sounds' advantage to 8-2. He became the fourth Sounds player this season to homer twice in a game.
Despite allowing nine hits, Graveman was effective. The nine hits were all singles and scattered throughout the right-hander's six innings of work. He kept the ball down all night long as he induced ten groundouts including three double plays.
A sacrifice fly from
Oklahoma City got a run back in the bottom of the third but the Sounds quickly pushed the lead back to four runs in the top of the fourth inning.
