With their fourth win in five games of the series, Somerset ensured a series victory over Binghamton. The Patriots have now won back-to-back series for the first time this season.
The Patriots have now won 10 of their last 13 games and Sunday they will go for their first five-win series of the season.
The game was played in front of a sold-out crowd of 6,962--the Patriots’ largest crowd of the season.

DH Austin Wells (1-for-4, RBI, R, HR) homered on the next pitch after Dominguez to double Somerset’s lead in the first inning.
Dating back to the eighth inning on Friday night, Wells had homered in back-to-back at-bats.
1B T.J. Rumfield (1-for-3, 2 RBI, R) doubled the Patriots’ lead with his fifth home run of the season in the second inning—a two-run shot that resulted in bringing home the game’s decisive runs.
Now with five home runs on the season, Rumfield leads the Patriots and is tied for fourth in the Eastern League. His 19 RBI also lead the Patriots and rank second in the Eastern League.
