Patriots Continue Partnership With Flagship Station 1450 AM WCTC

Bridgewater, NJ – The Somerset Patriots, the New York Yankees Double-A Affiliate, have announced longtime partner 1450 AM WCTC as the team’s Flagship Station for the 2021 season. It is the 24th year of the broadcasting relationship between the two Central Jersey institutions.

“We are very excited to continue our partnership with 1450 WCTC,” said Somerset Patriots President/General Manager Patrick McVerry. “The Voice of Central Jersey has helped provide our voice to our fans since we started in 1998. We are happy that they will bring baseball to all of our fans locally and listening from anywhere online.”

Fans will be able to tune in to all 120 Patriots games on 1450 AM or online at wctcam.com. Links to listen live will also be available through the team’s website and mobile app.

Patriots Director of Broadcasting/Media Relations Marc Schwartz returns as the team’s broadcaster for his fifth season on air. Broadcast/Media Relations assistant Brandon Pelter returns to join Schwartz in the booth for his second season.

"We are so very excited that the Somerset Patriots have continued to partner with WCTC," said WCTC Brand Manager Racquel Williams. "Ever since the team became a Yankees Double-A affiliate, the excitement has been building! We look forward to an awesome season, and we know the fans look forward to the live broadcasts from TD Bank Ballpark that we will continue to carry as well."

1450 AM WCTC is owned by Beasley Broadcast Group and serves the Central Jersey market. In addition to Patriots baseball, the station is the broadcast home for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.
