Ron Guidry VIP Meet And Greet Tickets Go On Sale On Tuesday, June 20

Bridgewater, New Jersey – The Somerset Patriots, the New York Yankees Double-A affiliate, have announced that Ron Guidry VIP Meet and Greet Tickets for his appearance at TD Bank Ballpark on Tuesday, August 22 will go on sale on Tuesday, June 20 at 10:00 am.

The Ron Guidry VIP Meet and Greet tickets are $100 for the event that will take place in the Diamond Club on the suite level. Tickets will include a chance to meet Guidry, get an autograph and picture with the Yankees legend and then enjoy the game from the space with an all-you-can-eat buffet for 1 ½ hours, soft drinks and a cash bar. Tickets are extremely limited and expected to sell out quickly.

The Ron Guidry Meet and Greet will take place between 5:15 pm to 6:15 pm and then he will be honored on the field during the pre-game ceremony and throw out a ceremonial first pitch.

Guidry will also be signing a limited number of autographs for fans at the August 22 game on the main concourse after the game starts. The Patriots will be announcing a lottery system for interested fans to enter for the chance to be one of 200 people to be able to purchase an autograph ticket for $20. The lottery date will be announced in the coming weeks. The randomly selected 200 fans will be contacted in advance of the event and will also need to purchase game tickets to participate.

Ron Guidry VIP Meet and Greet and autograph tickets will not be transferrable and must be used by the purchaser.

Nicknamed “Louisiana Lightning™,” Guidry played 14 seasons for the Yankees from 1975-1989 and then served as the team’s pitching coach from 2006 to 2007.

He was a World Series champion with the team in back-to-back seasons in 1977 and 1978. Guidry won the Cy Young Award in 1978 after a season when he went 25-3 with a 1.74 ERA and 248 strikeouts over 273.2 innings pitched in 35 games.

The legendary lefty was named captain of the Yankees in 1986. During his career, Guidry also won five Gold Glove Awards, appeared in four All-Star Games and has his #49 retired by the Yankees with a plaque honoring him in Monument Park.
