Renegades on YES

The Renegades will have a package of six games televised live on the YES Network and streamed live on The Gotham Sports App during the 2025 season. YES is the exclusive regional media home of the New York Yankees. The broadcast will feature the Renegades broadcast team of Joe Vasile and Jordy Fee-Platt. The games will be available on the YES Network and on The Gotham Sports App throughout YES’ regional coverage territory (New York State, Connecticut, northeastern Pennsylvania and north and central New Jersey) via video providers, as well as direct subscription.

The Gotham Sports App is available for download on iOS, Android, Google TV, Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, Roku, Vizio, Samsung Smart TV and LG Smart TV.

It is one of the largest and most-listened to radio networks in Minor League Baseball, and was the most-listened to broadcast in the Single-A and High-A classifications in 2023 and 2024.

Meet the Announcers

Joe Vasile - Director, PR & Broadcasting

Joe is entering his fourth season in the Hudson Valley in 2024 after he joined the Renegades in February 2022 as the Director of Media Relations and Broadcasting. he spent the previous three seasons with the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (Triple-A affiliate of the Yankees). In his role, Joe serves as the "Voice of the Renegades", broadcasting all 132 games on the Renegades Baseball Network.

Joe started with the RailRiders in 2018 as the Media Relations and Broadcasting Assistant, and was promoted to Media Relations Manager in 2020. Before joining the RailRiders, he served in similar positions with the Long Island Ducks and Salem Red Sox and was the Assistant GM and Broadcaster for the Fayetteville SwampDogs in 2015. During the baseball offseason, Joe broadcasts college basketball at Bucknell University, St. Peter's University and Monmouth University. He also produces the critically-acclaimed baseball history podcast Secondary Lead.

Joe was born in New York City and grew up in Paramus, NJ, graduating from The College of New Jersey in December 2013 with a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies: Radio/TV/Film. He currently resides in Poughkeepsie and enjoys playing golf, hiking, reading and drinking coffee.

Jordy Fee-Platt - Broadcasting & PR Associate

Jordy begins his second season as a member of the Renegades broadcast crew in 2025 as the Broadcasting and PR Associate. In addition to broadcasting 100 games last season, Jordy conducted player interviews, hosted the "BP Show" for all home games as well as the radio postgame show, and assisted in media relations duties. This offseason, he served as a freelance college play-by-play broadcaster. He also was a writer and editor for Hoops HQ, a college basketball online publication, where he covered March Madness.

He is a graduate of the master’s program at Arizona State University’s Cronkite School in sports journalism. Jordy covered the 2023 Diamondbacks World Series run, which included working as a freelance writer for the Dallas Morning News during the Fall Classic. In the summer of 2023, Jordy was the broadcaster for the Duluth Huskies, a collegiate summer baseball team in the Northwoods League.
