Since their inception in 1994, 134 Hudson Valley Renegades players have gone on to play in Major League Baseball. The first Renegades player to reach MLB was Kevin Brown, a catcher with the inaugural 1994 team. In 2024, seven Renegades alumni have made their MLB debuts, including the team's career strikeouts leader Matt Sauer and winningest left-handed Pitcher Josh Maciejewski. Additionally two members of the 2023 Renegades -- Drew Thorpe and Ben Rice have made their MLB debuts.
Three former Renegades managers, Charlie Montoyo ('98), Edwin Rodriguez ('99), and Matt Quatraro ('06 & '07) have gone on to manage MLB teams after serving in that position with the Gades. Former Renegades catcher Stephen Vogt made his managerial debut in 2024 as the skipper of the Cleveland Guardians.
