Daniels Delivers Two Deep Shots in 7-5 Win
GREENVILLE- The Asheville Tourists were challenged in their series opener in Greenville but they had all the answers. One of those answers was Zach Daniels. Asheville’s outfielder recorded his second multi-homer game of the season and helped lead the Tourists to a 7-5 win over the Drive.

HICKORY- The Asheville Tourists battled their way to a 9-7 victory over the Hickory Crawdads on Friday night in a game that featured six lead changes. In the end, the Tourists had just enough firepower to defeat the Crawdads for the third time in four games.
Tourists Stun Crawdads in Extra-Innings
HICKORY- The Asheville Tourists came from behind to beat the Hickory Crawdads 6-5 in ten innings on Tuesday night. Asheville erased a three-run deficit entering the seventh inning and Cristian Gonzalez’s RBI double in the top of the tenth proved to be the game winner.

Gonzalez Drives In Nine of Tourists Season-High 19 Runs
ASHEVILLE- On any other night Luis Guerrero’s eighth inning feat would headline Asheville’s 19-7 win over Rome. Guerrero hit a pair of two-run Home Runs, in the same inning. His teammate, Cristian Gonzalez, also hit two Home Runs albeit in different innings; however, Gonzalez’s full game performance netted nine RBI.
Three Solo Homers Not Enough to Compete with Northcut, Drive
GREENVILLE- The Asheville Tourists hit a trio of solo Home Runs on Friday night but it was nowhere near enough to keep pace with the Greenville Drive. The Drive’s DH, Nicholas Northcut, hit three Home Runs of his own and drove in eight as Greenville rolled past Asheville 16-4.
McDermott Strikes Out Ten as Tourists Handle Drive
GREENVILLE- The Asheville Tourists defeated the Greenville Drive 6-3 on Tuesday night despite committing four errors and striking out 18 times offensively. The main reason was Asheville’s starting pitcher Chayce McDermott. The right-hander struck out a career-high 10 and did not allow a hit until the sixth inning.
